Hi, I’m Tanya
As an Afro-Latina, with deep Caribbean roots, I understand the language of healing and recovery. My journey has taught me the importance of cultivating healthy beginnings, and I want to support you on your path to a trauma-free lifestyle. My mission is to assist you with elevating your mental health through the therapeutic practices of yoga and pilates for trauma recovery. I am a Registered (Yoga Alliance) 500+ Hour Yoga/Therapist and Pilates Instructor, Ayurveda Nutritionist, & Wellness Facilitator.
My classes are designed to create a safe and nurturing space for all beings. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience deep restorative and strengthening flows that honor their unique journey. My mission is to help you find vibrational alignment with your authentic self, fostering both mental and physical freedom. I am here to support you as you explore the sacred connection to your body and your inner child. I share my insights both on and off the mat because I genuinely believe in the power of healing and living a trauma-free life.
As the host of the “No More Trauma” podcast and the self-publisher of “The Happy Deck,” I offer tools and resources to assist you in your personal healing practice. Together, we can navigate this journey toward greater well-being and joy. You are not alone; I am here with you every step of the way.

My Approach
As a master “ManifestHER” I believe we should always dream. To dream big! Trauma doesn’t mean you can no longer dream. It simply means you have a story to tell, become aware of your experience, rise above it and not become a victim of your experience. Move at a pace that feels good in your body. Yes, you may stumble, it may be very scary, it may even piss you off that you have to start all over again. But, trust me once you do, you’ll be glad you did!! I’ll be here to guide you and cheer you on.

No More Trauma Yoga has been such a positive experience for me. I have loved every bit of it. It is such a safe, humorous, encouraging environment to be in. Tanya is absolutely amazing, she truly cares about her clients and fits the program to you. The classes include strengthening for your body and mind.
